GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. SCOPE

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our online shop is directed exclusively at consumers.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity.

2. CONTRACTING PARTY, CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT, CORRECTION OPTIONS

The purchase contract is concluded with Beldi GbR.

By placing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You may first place our products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained in the order process.

The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods contained in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after submitting the order, you will receive a confirmation by email.

3. CONTRACT LANGUAGE, STORAGE OF CONTRACT TEXT

Languages available for the conclusion of the contract: German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish.

We store the contract text and send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions in text form. For security reasons, the contract text is no longer accessible via the internet.

4. DELIVERY CONDITIONS

We ship the products to the delivery address specified during the ordering process.

We only deliver by shipping. Self-collection of goods is not possible.

We do not deliver to parcel stations.

5. PAYMENT

The following payment methods are generally available in our shop:

PAYPAL

To pay via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), you must be registered with PayPal, log in with your access data, and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction is carried out by PayPal after the goods have been shipped. Further instructions are provided during the ordering process.

PayPal may offer additional payment methods to registered PayPal customers selected according to its own criteria. We have no influence on the offering of these methods; they relate to your legal relationship with PayPal.

PAYMENT PROCESSING VIA PAYPAL SERVICES

In cooperation with PayPal, we offer various payment methods as PayPal Services. You do not need to be registered with PayPal to use these services.

Depending on the selected payment method, you may be redirected to PayPal’s website and the chosen payment service after placing your order:

Credit Card: You enter your credit card details during the ordering process. The payment transaction is carried out immediately after confirmation and authorization by your card issuer at PayPal’s request, and your card will be charged.

Giropay: On PayPal’s website, you enter your payment details and confirm their use. You are then redirected to the website of paydirekt GmbH, Stephanstr. 14-16, 60313 Frankfurt am Main (“Giropay”). To pay via Giropay, you must have a bank account enabled for online banking, authenticate yourself, and confirm the payment. Your account will be charged immediately after placing the order.

Direct Debit: On PayPal’s website, you enter your payment details, confirm their use, and authorize PayPal to collect payment via direct debit. You will be informed of the debit date (prenotification). After confirmation, PayPal initiates the transaction, and your account will be debited.

6. RETENTION OF TITLE

The product remains our property until full payment has been made.

7. TRANSPORT DAMAGE

If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects immediately to the delivery person and contact us without delay. Failure to make a complaint or contact us has no consequences for your statutory rights, in particular your warranty rights. However, you help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurance.

8. WARRANTY AND GUARANTEES

8.1 LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS

Statutory liability for defects applies.

8.2 WARRANTIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Information on any additional warranties and their exact conditions can be found with the respective product and on special information pages in the online shop.

9. LIABILITY

We are always fully liable for claims arising from damages caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents:

  • in case of injury to life, body, or health

  • in case of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty

  • in case of warranty promises, if agreed, or

  • insofar as the scope of the Product Liability Act applies

In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

In all other respects, claims for damages are excluded.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here.

We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
